PETITION

FOR DETERMINATION OF DESCENT

Jared M. O’Malley (“Petitioner”) has filed a Petition for Determination of Descent. 

It is Ordered that on March 15, 2019, at 8:45 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at St. Cloud, Minnesota, on the petition. The petition represents that the Decedent died testate more than three years ago leaving property in Minnesota.  The petition requests the Court probate the decedent’s last Will dated October 9, 2009, determine the descent of such property, and assign the property to the persons entitled.

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing.  If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the petition will be granted. 

Notice shall be given by publishing this Notice and Order as provided by law and by mailing a copy of this Notice and Order to each interested person by United States mail at least 14 days before the time set for the hearing.

NOTICE OF

ANNUAL MEETING, ELECTION,

AND TESTING OF EQUIPMENT

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Albany Township, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and the Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. In case of inclement weather the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday of March. Please listen to KASM (1150 AM) radio station for changes.

The Public Accuracy Test of the voting equipment will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 4:30 P.M. This test is open to the General Public.

Absentee Balloting-The Clerk’s office, 20929 330 Street, Albany, will be open Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. to accept absentee ballots.

Annual Election/Board of Canvass/ Annual Meeting-Will be held on March 12, 2019; The Election Poll hours will be open from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., at which time the voters will elect one Town Supervisor for a three-year term.

Board of Canvass will meet at 8:15 P.M. to canvass the results of the election.

The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:30 P.M. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

All events (except Absentee Balloting) will be held at the City of Albany Fire Hall, 231 Fourth St, Albany MN.

O’Malley, whose address is 36253 Roanoke Lane, Melrose, Minnesota 56352, as personal representative of the Decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration.

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing.  If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representatives will be appointed with the full power to administer the Decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the Decedent’s estate. 

Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the Decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

Farming Township

Township Election

Annual Town Meeting

Accuracy Test

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Farming Township, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota that the Annual Township Election will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in the Township Board Room of the Farming Community Center, 23801 County Road 42, Richmond, MN 56368 (Town of Farming). Polls will be open from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm to elect one Supervisor for a term of 3 years and one Treasurer for a term of 2 years.

The Annual Town Meeting will be held at 8:30 pm at the same address following the Election and Board of Canvass to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

In case of inclement weather, the Election and Town Meeting will be postponed until the third Tuesday in March – March 19, 2019 – and if inclement weather also postpones the Election and Town Meeting on the third Tuesday, the Election and Town Meeting will be held on the fourth Tuesday in March – March 26, 2019 at the same times and place. Holding Township Notice

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Holding Township, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers, Board of Canvass and Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Holding Town Hall. KRAIN TOWNSHIP 

NOTICE

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Krain Township, Stearns County, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town officers and the Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 at the Krain Town Hall located at 43207 State Hwy 238 Freeport, MN (south of St. Francis). Crop Land For Rent

The City of Holdingford is seeking to rent out ten (10) acres of city owned land on a 3 year contract. The successful bidder will be required to sign a contract guaranteeing payment by March 31 of each year of the contract. Bidder will also be required to till the land within 24 hours of the City Maintenance Department’s sludge spreading twice a year. All interested bidders must have bids turned in to Holdingford City Center during normal business hours by 12 noon on March 11, 2019. The City of Holdingford reserves the right to refuse any and all bids.
