NOTICE TO:  Two Rivers Lake Property Owners

Friends of Two Rivers Lake intends to treat curly-leaf pondweed in Two Rivers Lake in 2018.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has granted to the lake association a waiver of the requirement that the association obtain the signatures of approval of owners of lake shore property.  Instead, the lake association will notify property owners of the treatment through alternate forms.  This publication is one form that the lake association is using to notify property owners.  Other forms include notification on the lake association’s web page www.tworiverslake.org and during the lake association’s annual meeting which will be announced at a later date in this publication.

With regard to the treatment for this year, proposed between May through June 2018:

1. The target species for the treatment is curly-leaf pondweed.

2. The method of control or product being used is diquat.

3. Landowners may request that control not occur adjacent to their property by notifying Bob Guggenberger, lake association Project Manager, immediately either by phone or email.
