August 22, 2018

1. CALL TO ORDER

The work session was called to order by Chair Winkels at 6:00 p.m.

2. ROLL CALL

Present: Winkels, Hansen, Kreuzer, McLachlan, Carbajal, Paulsen, Gersch

3. STAFF LUNCH AUGUST 27TH - Brats, burgers, hotdogs, & buns. Will use Fire Dept. grills. Cookies and Water from CMCU. Will serve in cafeteria. Board members to be here at 10 am.

4. BACK TO SCHOOL LAUNCH FEEDBACK - Overall was a success. Reviewed things that went well and ways to improve the experience. Looking forward to having it again next year: August 1st and August 5th from 3-7 pm and August 7th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

5. MEETING FORMAT - Requests for better summary at end of meeting of committee reports. What about having two meetings a month instead of one to cut down on length? One meeting and one work session?

6. BUILDING PROJECT - The school board members took a tour of the building’s new projects. Don reported on the meeting of Finance & Facilities committee from this afternoon. Project priority list reviewed and discussed.

7. ADJOURNMENT

Agenda completed at 8:30 pm, a motion to adjourn was made by Hanson, seconded by Kreuzer. Supported by all present.
