    It is Ordered and Notice is given that on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 8:45 a.m. a hearing will be held in this Court at St. Cloud, Minnesota, on a petition for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Decedent’s Will dated August 16, 1994, and for the appointment of Bernard T. Wiebolt, whose address is 44658 Birch Hill Road, Melrose, Minnesota 56352, as personal representative of the Decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration.

    Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing.  If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representatives will be appointed with the full power to administer the Decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the Decedent’s estate.

    Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the Decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

Board of Appeal and Equalization

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The Board of Equalization and Appeal for Millwood Township shall meet on April 19, 2017, 10:30-11:00 a.m. in the St. Rosa Church basement. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.

    If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor's office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation of classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both, if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.

Special School Board Minutes – Melrose Public Schools ISD 740

Monday, April 3, 2017, 7:00 a.m.

    Chair Heller called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Mr. Heller, Mr. Dufner, Mrs. Feldewerd, Mrs. Winter, Mrs. Uphoff, Mr. Heidgerken and Mr. Tomford.

    Mrs. Feldewerd moved, with a second by Mr. Dufner, to approve the agenda. The Motion was unanimously carried.

    A letter was presented to the Board by Melrose Federation of Teachers. No action taken.

    Greg Vandel of Peer Solutions USA and Gary Lee of the Minnesota School Board Association (MSBA) gave presentations.

    Mr. Tomford moved, with a second by Mr. Heidgerken, to approve the contract with Greg Vandel of Peer solutions USA. The Motion was unanimously carried.

    Chair Heller adjourned the meeting at 8:50 p.m.

Notice of Public Hearing

    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 394.26, that the Stearns County Board of Adjustment, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, April 27, 2017, in Conference Room 121, Stearns County Service Center West, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park, MN, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

    Purpose of the hearing is to consider the granting or denial of variances from the Stearns County Land Use & Zoning Ordinance, Stearns County Subdivision Ordinance, Stearns County Sewage Treatment Ordinance, Stearns County Recreational Campground Ordinance, Stearns County Lodging Establishments Ordinance, Stearns County Childrens Camps Ordinance and the Stearns County Manufactured Home Parks Ordinance as follows:

    Public Hearings:

1. To consider a request from PROPS, LLC (Lawrence Hoeschen, applicant), Freeport, MN from Section 6.5 of the Stearns County Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Ordinance #422 to use a holding tank for a Subsurface Sewage Treatment System where there is sufficient area to place a standard Subsurface Sewage Treatment System. Said Ordinance requires that a standard Subsurface Sewage Treatment System be installed where there is sufficient land area available for the placement of said system. Affected property:  Lot 3, Block 1 of Rolling Lake Acres, Section 22, T126N, R32W, Millwood Township. Property address:  40325 County Road 11, Freeport, MN.

    All applications and related information are on file with the Environmental Services Department, Room 343, County Administration Center, 705 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, MN and can also be viewed approximately one week prior to the meeting at co.stearns.mn.us by clicking on Board and Committee Meetings. Action taken on these applications will be available shortly after the meeting at the same website location.
