CITY OF FREEPORT Notice of Public Hearing

The Freeport City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 28th beginning at 7pm or soon thereafter in Freeport City Hall (125 Main St E) to consider an ordinance amending the Freeport City Code, Section 500 amending Accessory Structures within the City of Freeport, Minnesota. 

The public hearing is an opportunity for the general public and interested parties to hear and see all the information and to ask relevant questions, provide additional information, and express support or opposition.

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on January 31, 2020, at 8:45 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at 725 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, Minnesota, on a petition for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of Decedent’s heirs, and for the appointment of Paul Loxtercamp, whose address is 1725 Washington Avenue South, Bemidji, MN  56601, as personal representative of the Decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration.

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the Decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; to sell real and personal property; and to do all necessary acts for the Decedent’s estate.

Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the Decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE 96: NEW MUNICH SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES 2020

RECITALS:

WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of New Munich has passed the adoption of Ordinance 96: New Munich Schedule of Fees and Charges 2020

WHEREAS, the City of New Munich desires to publish the Ordinance by Summary Publication;

THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:

1. The City Council has reviewed the proposed Summary 

Publication and finds that the summary of the Ordinance clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance.

2. The City of New Munich directs the City Clerk to publish the Ordinance by Summary Publication.
