Regular School Board Minutes - Melrose Area Public Schools Monday, October 28, 2019

Chair Heller called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The following members were present: Mr. Heller, Mrs. Winter, Mr. Heidgerken, Mrs Feldewerd, Mr. Dufner, Mrs. Uphoff, & Mr. Klasen. Mr. Winter, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Conrad & Mr. Doetkott were also present.

Mrs. Winter moved, with a second by Mr. Heidgerken, to approve the agenda. The Motion was unanimously carried.

Mr. Klasen moved, with a second by Mrs. Uphoff, to approve the Resolution on Combining Polling Places. The Motion was unanimously carried.

Mr. Dufner moved, with a second by Mr. Heidgerken, to adjourn the meeting at 8:19 pm. The Motion was unanimously carried.

Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Stearns County Planning Commission, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct a public hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit application submitted by SinclairSun LLC, Denver CO (SunShare LLC) on behalf of Dean & Karen Meyer, Melrose MN according to Sections 4.8, 6.52 and 9.2.5U of Stearns County Land Use and Zoning Ordinance #439 to construct a 1MW solar garden in the Agricultural 80 (A-80) zoning district.  The property under consideration is located in part of the NE1/4 NW1/4, lying east of State Highway 4 in Section 29, Grove Township (125/33). 

Notice is further given that the above hearing will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Stearns County Service Center West, 3301 County Road 138 Room 121, Waite Park, Minnesota.        

A copy of the proposed request is on file in the Stearns County Environmental Services Office, County Administration Center, 705 Courthouse Square Room 343, St. Cloud, Minnesota and can be viewed during regular business hours.  This request/information can also be viewed approximately one week prior to the meeting at co.stearns.mn.us by clicking on Board & Committee Meetings.  Action taken on this application will be available shortly after the meeting at the same website location.  

All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing or submit written testimony prior to the hearing date either in support of or in opposition to the proposed request.  Written testimony should be submitted to the Stearns County Environmental Services Department, Administration Center, 705 Courthouse Square Room 343, St. Cloud, Minnesota 56303.
