Representatives of political parties, candidates, the press, and the public are invited to attend.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Managers of the Sauk River Watershed District pursuant to Minnesota Statue 103D.605 will hold a hearing February 18th, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sauk Centre City Hall Council Chambers, located at 320 Oak Street South in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to consider and take comments on the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s Sauk River Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy (WRAPS) – Cycle II, project #355.
This project proposes to develop Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) studies on impaired water bodies within the Sauk River Watershed, as well as the development of a WRAPS report. This project will be completed with the cooperation of partner agencies such as the Soil and Water Conservation Districts and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, along with a consultant (RESPEC) who has been hired to write the reports. The total estimated cost of the project is $285,000, to be paid from a grant from the State of Minnesota through the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on March 6, 2020, at 8:45 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court 725 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, Minnesota, on a petition for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Decedent’s Will dated September 25, 2009, and Codicil dated July 10, 2019, and for the  appointment of Theresa Marthaler, whose address is 11780 Stearns Line Road, Osakis, MN 56360, as personal representative of the Decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration.
Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the Decedent’s estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the Decedent’s estate.
Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. §524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the Decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

ORDINANCE NO. 2020-01
AN ORDINANCE ?AMENDING THE 
FREEPORT CITY CODE OF 1995,
CHAPTER V, SECTION 500 ZONING, 
PLANNING AND LAND USE WITHIN THE 
CITY OF FREEPORT, MINNESOTA
The City Council of the City of Freeport, Minnesota Does Ordain:
Section 1.  The Freeport City Code of 1995, Chapter V, Section 500.48 - Accessory Structures, Subdivision 1 - General Standards, is hereby amended by repealing and replacing paragraph number 3 with the following:
3. An accessory building, unless attached to and made a part of the principal structure, shall not be closer than four (4) feet to the principal structure, unless a smaller separation is granted under a conditional use permit.
Section 2.  The Freeport City Code of 1995, Chapter V, Section 500.48 - Accessory Structures, Subdivision 1 - General Standards, is hereby amended by repealing and replacing paragraph number 6 with the following:
6. Accessory structures shall be placed on a leveled base and shall be firmly anchored to the surface. 
Section 3.  The Freeport City Code of 1995, Chapter V, Section 500.48 - Accessory Structures, Subdivision 1 - General Standards, is hereby amended by repealing and replacing paragraph number 8 with the following:
8. Size Limit: Accessory structures shall be clearly and reasonably subordinate to the principal structure in terms of both scale and bulk.  Total accessory structure square footage, excluding attached garages, shall not exceed ten (10) percent of the lot area or six hundred (600) square feet, whichever is greater.  The City Council may approve a conditional use permit to accommodate larger accessory structures.
Section 4.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication according to law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Freeport on January 28, 2020.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Section 394.26, that the Stearns County Board of Adjustment, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, February 27, 2020, in Conference Room 121, Stearns County Service Center West, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park, MN, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
