Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Grove Township, County of Stearns, state of Minnesota, that the annual election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election will be held on Tuesday, March 17th, 2020.

The Election Poll hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Voters can vote for 

1 Supervisor, 3-year term

2 Clerk, 2-year term.

The Board of Canvass will meet at 8:05 p.m. on the day of the Election to certify the results.

The Annual Meeting will be held ate 8:10 p.m. 

Election and Annual Meeting will be held at the Meire Grove City Hall.

MILLWOOD TOWNSHIP NOTICE

Notice is hereby given:  To the qualified voters of Millwood Township, the annual election will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in the St. Rosa Church Basement.  In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.

The annual meeting will commence at 1:00 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.  The election polls will open immediately following the annual meeting, and close at 8:00 p.m.  Voters will elect the following: One Supervisor: 3-year term; One Clerk: 2-year term.  The board of canvas will certify the election results on March 10, 2020, immediately following the counting of votes.

The Board of Appeal and Equalization for New Munich City will meet on 4/6/2020, 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm, at New Munich City Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.

February 12, 2020

Mr. Heller called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The following members were present: Mr. Heller, Mrs. Winter, Mr. Heidgerken, Mrs. Feldewerd, Mr. Dufner, Mrs. Uphoff & Mr. Klasen. Mr. Winter was also present.

Mrs. Uphoff moved, with a second by Mr. Heidgerken, to approve the agenda. The Motion was unanimously carried.

Mr. Dufner moved, with a second by Mr. Klasen, to approve the Awarding of Bus Contract to Melrose Bus Service. The Motion was unanimously carried.

Mr. Heidgerken moved, with a second by Mrs. Uphoff, to approve the Awarding of Bus Contract to Williams Bus Service. The Motion was unanimously carried.

Mr. Klasen moved, with a second by Mr. Dufner, to approve the Awarding of the Bus Contract to New Munich Bus Service. The Motion was unanimously carried.

Mrs. Uphoff moved, with a second by Mr. Dufner, to approve the Awarding of the Contract to Kraemer Bus Service. The Motion was unanimously carried.

The citizens of the township of Melrose, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, who are qualified to vote at General Elections, are hereby notified that the annual election and Annual Township Meeting will be held at the Melrose Town Hall, 41248 County Road 13, Melrose, MN, on March 10, 2020 for the following purposes:

To elect 1 (one) Supervisor, seat #3 for the term of three years.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Stearns County Planning Commission, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct a certain public hearing to consider an amendment to Interim Use Permit 10-29 submitted by Herdering Inc., Melrose MN on behalf of Harold Toenyan, Melrose MN according to Sections 4.18, 7.17 and 9.3.6 D of Stearns County Land Use and Zoning Ordinance #439 to have a mining operation for an additional 10 years in the Agricultural 40 (A-40) zoning district.  The proposal is located in part of the SW1/4, lying east of 305th Avenue in Section 17, Millwood Township (126/32). The property address is 41388 305th Avenue, Melrose MN.

Notice is further given that the above and other hearings will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Stearns County Service Center West, 3301 County Road 138 Room 121, Waite Park, Minnesota.
