NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the construction of 2019 Street Improvements will be received by the City of Melrose at the City Clerk’s office located at 225 1st Street NE, Melrose, Minnesota until 10:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities:

The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City of Melrose shall comply with the provisions of the statute.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis for the base Bid, with any alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the City of Melrose until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the Melrose City Center located at 225 1st St NE, Melrose, MN  56352 for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of Melrose City Center HVAC Improvements. Major components of the Work include: Installation of two new rooftop condensing units and associated refrigerant piping, new cooling coils at two air handling units, new hot water coils at two air handling units (Alternate 1) and associated electrical work, controls, architectural components and roofing.

A notice is hereby given that the Township of Oak, Stearns County, Minnesota will hold the following meetings at the Oak Town Hall on the dates and times listed:

ORDINANCE NO. 2017-01

REGULATING PARKING WITHIN THE CITY OF SPRING HILL

THE CITY COUNCIL OF SPRING HILL, MN, has passed ordinance 2017-01 regulating parking on City streets, this ordinance prohibits the parking on City streets during a snow emergency as declared by the council.  It is unlawful for any person to park or leave standing a vehicle on any street within the City of Spring Hill during a declared snow emergency.

The snow removal period is between 12:01 a.m. on November 15th through 11:59 p.m. on March 15th of the next year.  The snow removal period will be between the hours of 4:00AM and 8:00AM and again between the periods of 4:00PM and 8:00PM.

Notice

Notice is hereby given:  To the qualified voters of Millwood Township, the annual meeting and election will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in the St. Rosa Church Basement.  In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.

The annual meeting will commence at 1:00 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.  The election polls will open immediately following the annual meeting, and close at 8:00 p.m.  Voters will elect the following: One Supervisor: 3-year term; One Treasurer: 2-year term.  The board of canvas will certify the election results on March 12, 2019, immediately following the election.
