ORDINANCE NO. 94 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2 

RELATING TO MISDEMEANORS, PUBLIC MORALS AND DEPORTMENT

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW MUNICH, MINNESOTA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: 

1. That Section II of Ordinance No. 2 shall be amended to read as follows:

“Section II.  Any person or persons who shall violate any of the above provisions of Section One of this Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of not less than three hundred dollars nor more than nine hundred dollars, together with the cost of suit, or be committed to the county jail of Stearns County not to exceed ninety days, or both.  Such fine and imprisonment is the discretion of the prosecutor for the City of New Munich.”

2. That Section IV of Ordinance No. 2 shall be amended to read as follows:

“Section IV.  Any person, company or corporation who shall violate any of the above provisions of Section Three of this Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of not less than three hundred dollars nor more than nine hundred dollars, together with the cost of suit, or be committed to the county jail of Stearns County not to exceed ninety days, or both.  Such fine and imprisonment is the discretion of the prosecutor for the City of New Munich.”

3. That Section VII of Ordinance No. 2 shall be amended to read as follows:

“Section VII  Any person, company or corporation who shall violate any of the above provisions of Section Five or Six of this Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of not less than three hundred dollars nor more than nine hundred dollars, together with the cost of suit, or be committed to the county jail of Stearns County not to exceed ninety days, or both.  Such fine and imprisonment is the discretion of the prosecutor for the City of New Munich.”

4. That Section XV of Ordinance No. 2 shall be amended to read as follows:

“Section XV.  Any person, company or corporation who shall violate any of the above provisions of Section Seven through Fourteen of this Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of not less than three hundred dollars nor more than nine hundred dollars, together with the cost of suit, or be committed to the county jail of Stearns County not to exceed ninety days, or both.  Such fine and imprisonment is the discretion of the prosecutor for the City of New Munich.”

The ordinance shall become effective upon publication.
