CITY OF SAUK CENTRE ADVERTISEMENT FOR QUOTES STREET CRACK FILL MAINTENANCE

Notice is hereby given that the City of Sauk Centre will accept sealed quotes for Street Crack Fill Maintenance until 11:00 AM, on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at which time they will be opened and read aloud.

Preliminary estimates for bidding purposes includes 6,000 pounds of material.

A copy of the specifications, work detail map and quote form may be picked up at the City Administrator’s Office, 320 Oak Street South, Sauk Centre, MN, 56378. Sealed quote envelopes shall bear the inscription “Street Crack Fill Maintenance Quote”. A cash deposit, certified check or bid bond for at least five percent (5%) of the total quote amount must accompany the proposal.

West Central Education District

Board Meeting Minutes

Date: February 5, 2019

Location: Sauk Centre School District Board Room

Board Chair Winkels called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Board members Winter, Pfeffer, and Utsch were in attendance along with Superintendents Bullard and Winter. Superintendents Westby and Johnson were absent. WCED Director Fevig, Administrator McLellan, Coordinator Fischer, and 1 WCED staff member were also in attendance. 

After introductions of new board members, Winter moved, Pfeffer seconded to approve the agenda.  Motion carried unopposed. 

Under reorganization, Winter nominated Winkels for Board Chair, having no other nominations, Winkels was appointed Board Chair by acclimation. Winkels nominated Winter for Vice Chair, having no other nominations, Winter was appointed Vice Chair by acclimation. Winter nominated Pfeffer for Treasurer/Clerk, having no other nominations, Pfeffer was appointed Treasurer/Clerk by acclimation.

Also under reorganization, Pfeffer moved, Winter seconded, motion carried to continue with the Sauk Centre Herald as the official newspaper.  MN National Bank was approved to continue as the Official Bank with a motion by Utsch, second by Winter, motion carried unopposed.   Annual memberships/subscriptions were reviewed followed by a motion from Winter, second from Pfeffer, motion carried unopposed to approve memberships/subscriptions. Board meetings were set for the rest of 2019: March 11 Albany; May 13 Melrose; July 15 Paynesville; September 16 Sauk Centre and November 11 Albany.  Winter moved, Utsch seconded to approve the board meeting dates/locations. Motion carried unopposed. 

Winter moved, Pfeffer seconded approval of the Consent Agenda including Board Minutes from October 8, 2018 Work Session and November 12, 2018 Regular Meeting; Account Balance and Bills Payable (22098-22138); ProCare contract for Star Program position and Tony Garcia for ALC Triage position.  Motion carried unopposed. 

Under Reports, information regarding weather make up days for ALC and Beacon was shared along with discussion regarding informal request from BBE to join WCED; contract vs hire for audiologist and updates regarding office staff move to Melrose.  

Winkels adjourned the meeting at 7:17pm.
