2. The default is as follows:

The contract vendee has failed to make monthly payments in the amount of $996.00 for the months of December, 2017, January, February, and March of 2018, totaling $3,984.00. Insurance premium in the amount of $225.27 is also owing.

3. For contracts executed after August 1, 1976, and prior to August 1, 1985, the purchase price was N/A and the amount of the purchase price paid by purchaser is, which is % of the purchase price, as calculated in the manner required by Minnesota Statutes § 559.21, subd. le.

4. The conditions contained in Minnesota Statutes § 559.209 have been compiled with or are not applicable.

5. THIS NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT BY THIS NOTICE THE SELLERS HAVE BEGUN PROCEEDINGS UNDER MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTION 559.21, TO TERMINATE YOUR CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF YOUR PROPERTY FOR THE REASONS SPECIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LIVESTOCK FEEDLOT PERMIT

Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116, that MEYER DAIRY LLC, has made an application to Stearns County for a permit to construct or expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.

The existing feedlot will be located at NW4NE4; S2NE4 & W2 SE4; Section 15, Township 125, Range 034, Sauk Centre, Minnesota. The existing facility consists of dairy cattle with freestall barns, heifer shed, and commodity storage buildings, 499 animal units and one liquid manure storage basin. The proposed facility consists of an additional liquid manure storage basin, stacking slab and an increase to 540.8 animal units. The total animal unit capacity will be 540.8.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.

West Central Education District

Board Meeting Minutes

Date: January 8, 2018

Location: Paynesville School District, 

Elementary Media Center

Board Chair Winkels called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Members Storkamp and Winter’s alternate Feldewerd were in attendance along with Superintendents Huot, Winter and Johnson. Board member Abel and Superintendent Westby were absent. WCED Director Fevig, Administrator McLellan, Coordinator Fischer, and 3 WCED staff members were also in attendance. 

After adding MREA to reports, Storkamp moved, Feldewerd seconded to approve the agenda.  Motion carried unopposed. 

Under reorganization, Storkamp moved, Feldewerd seconded to keep officer positions the same. Motion carried unopposed. 

Also under reorganization, Feldewerd moved, Storkamp seconded and the motion carried to continue with the Sauk Centre Herald as the official newspaper.  MN National Bank was approved to continue as the Official Bank with a motion by Storkamp, second by Feldewerd, motion carried unopposed.   Annual memberships were reviewed with a request from the board for follow up on two memberships at the next meeting: Viewpoint and MREA. Board meetings had previously been set through July 2018. Storkamp moved, Feldewerd seconded to approve the addition of September 10, 2018 and November 12, 2018 board meetings.  Motion carried unopposed. 

Under Reports, information regarding the new Star Program was shared along with the follow up from the CAREI report and a list of action items related to WCED and the member districts. A discussion was also held regarding membership for WCED in the MREA organization.  

Under Old Business, Fevig led the discussion regarding the formal request from BBE to join WCED. Based on the results of the CAREI study and discussion, the motion was made by Storkamp, seconded by Feldewerd to turn down the request for financial and other reasons. Motion carried unopposed.  Fevig presented the Joint Powers Agreement for updates.  Also discussed was the continued progress toward moving the Beacon Program to the Community Services Building in Melrose.  Storkamp moved, Feldewerd seconded to continue to support the move.  Motion carried unopposed. 

First on the agenda under New Business were the Special Education Funding Resolutions from MSBA in support of fully funding special education.  Feldewerd moved, Storkamp seconded approval of the State Special Education Funding Resolution.  Motion carried unopposed.  Storkamp moved, Feldewerd seconded to approve the Federal Special Education Funding Resolution. Motion carried unopposed.   Also under new business was the 2nd reading of Policy 533 -Wellness and 601, 603 and 616 Curriculum Policies.  Feldewerd motioned, Storkamp seconded to approve said policies.  Motion carried unopposed.  Policy 802 Disposition of Obsolete Equipment and Material was presented for a first reading as well as a review of 714: Fund Balance.  WCED business manager recommends a change from 1 months expenditures in the fund balance to a 2 month reserve. 

Feldewerd moved, Storkamp seconded approval of the Consent Agenda including Board Minutes from November 13, 2017 and December 11, 2017; balance sheet and Bills Payable (21787-21831).  Motion carried unopposed. 

Winkels adjourned the meeting at 7:49pm.
