Avon council gives preliminary fire hall bond approval

Avon city leaders want to issue a maximum of $2.58 million in general obligation bonds for a new fire hall. That amount and a capital improvement plan for the project were approved Sept. 11 by the council during their monthly meeting at Avon City Hall in Avon.
