Ryan Gill and Sarah Sumner, of New Munich, are happy to announce the birth of their son, Ryan Thomas Gill, Jr., “RJ,” at 10:11 a.m., July 18, 2023, at CentraCare-Melrose Hospital in Melrose. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long. Big Sister Raelynn, 2.5 years old, welcomed him home. Grandparents are Curtis and Sue Sumner, of Albany; Tom Gill, III, of Albany; and Val Gill, of St. Joseph. Great-grandpa is Tom Gill, Jr., of Albany.
Sunny Jo Messer
Justin and Mataya Messer, of Sauk Centre, are happy to announce the birth of their daughter, Sunny Jo Messer, at 3:37 p.m., July 22, 2023, at CentraCare-Melrose Hospital in Melrose. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. Big brother Rowen, 4 years old, and big sister Finley, 6 years old, welcomed her home. Grandparents are Joe and April Messer, Mike Hatlestad and Sharon Messer and Shanon Engle. Great-grandma is Linda Winkelman.
