Schools’ Narcan protocol implemented to prevent opioid overdoses

Opioid abuse has hardly been an issue at Sauk Centre Public Schools, if at all, but illegally distributed drugs like fentanyl have been on the rise in Minnesota and across the country. With its Narcan protocol, the public school can now store and administer a medication which buys time for an overdosing victim to receive proper medical care.
